    • Co-founder of Small Manufacturers Institute to obtain financial resources and influence within the educational community as it applies to Industrial Technical Education. The partnership has the educational community as it applies to Industrial Technical Education. The ¬†partnership has won and managed over 12 million dollars in various grant
    • Created partnerships with local schools through the SFV Chapter of the NTMA
    • Create and coordinate student internship opportunities for our members to identify potential employees
    • Help support manufacturing education programs with supplies, letters of support and making connections to local mentors

    Advocacy

    • Monthly newsletter with timely articles on public policy and regulatory issues
    • Support letters and testimony of issues critical to manufacturers
    • Participation in collaborative legislative matters that help build coalitions
    • Creating Manufacturing Defense Fund to support legal remedies to stop the systemic decline of manufacturing training programs and the attacks on manufacturers’ ability to operate competitively in California

    Economic Development

    • Participate in the creation and implementation of economic development strategies that are supportive of manufacturers
    • Develop regional networking opportunities and meetings to solve problems and create business opportunities
    • Provide assistance for local governments and resources on how best to serve the manufacturing community
